Advisory: Schools must notify parents ahead of safety drills

Beginning July 31, 2024, schools are required to notify parents and caregivers within one week of all safety drills – including fire/evacuation drills, lockdown drills and emergency dismissal drills. Additional communication-related changes for the 2024-25 school year include:
